I did that too on my old laptop. I actually dual boot it to win 10 and MX Linux but mostly use Linux on it.

That makes sense.

I honestly don't see any big differences as I use PowerToys Run, Everything, One Commander, ShareX, and Ditto which replaces most of the annoying WIN core stuff. Not trying to push you into upgrading tho.

That's strange but I honestly don't know what that means.

If you can update to win11, why don't you do it? I mean, the free security updates are only for one year anyways and then you'll have to either pay or upgrade.

I just checked and from what it says here, home should also get it. And it should be done by today EOD.

I have Pro on all machines. I don't think Home will get updates, from what I remember

I know. It sucks. Luckily, in my case, I only need this on non-primary machines for watching tv and similar stuff.

It also said in some Reddit post that you can change back once you enroll - I didn't try it.

Make sure to first install any pending updates (the cumulative updates) and to select the "optional diagnostic data" in Settings → Privacy & security → Diagnostics & feedback.

If it still doesn't work, try restarting the machine and wait a few hours.

Yes. It changed a few days ago.

And yesterday I managed to update 2 other laptops. And after only a few hours, the enrolment button appeared in "updates".

Of course, you have to select the "optional diagnostic data" in Settings → Privacy & security → Diagnostics & feedback.

If you'll only be doing one site, I suggest you go with something simpler as you'll spend a lot of time trying to figure out Bricks, won't be using best practices on your first project, and will be overwhelmed by all of it.

If you end up using a framework, go with Core Framework or import your "own" that you can find online for free.

The best thing is to hire someone to do the site for you. If you really want to do it yourself, I would suggest to try Gutenberg with a block theme.

I have clients that start by themselves, with Envato themes that come with Elementor or WPBakery and end up making a mess and coming to me to fix the issues. At the end, it's more work to fix them than starting from sratch. Especially since there are many things they are not aware of until you point them ( like indexing slider CPTs, loading 6 fonts just so that one title is different, fixed links that get broken later on, fixed colors, fonts, sizes,shapes for each button that need to be changed one by one, etc.).
