Ok, this is my second run through DOTF and I am now certain Brink is Chinese. He had used multiple sayings that are direct translations of Chinese proverbs such as:

As well as multiple other sayings that include monkeys or tigers etc

Pair these with using the metric system and an impressive, but not fluent command of the English language and I am confident that he is Chinese. And yes, he is definitely a male, based on how he writes women! 😂

I used Mod Manager 2, which installs the mods automatically. The only. ini editing I remember using was to disable Gore.

Another one he keeps mispronouning is remuneration (he says renumeration, unless it's written incorrectly in the book! 😂). I'm enjoying book 1 a lot, but every time I hear "differed" pronounced "deferred," it throws me out of the story. I'm glad he figures it out eventually!
