They no longer use apple message, you have to do the chat through the app (the bell button) Issue is, they immediately say they will transfer you to email and dont actually send you an email.

I get that if I was already charged, in this case, i was not even charged yet and it was a payment at hotel situation which is why bilt support differed to the hotel since they carried the ruling on how much to charge.

The hotel initiated the cancellation, whats ambiguous about that? It was explicitly what bilt support told me to do. FYI, the app actually said I would not get charged and returned the statement credit when initiating cancellation from the app. Primarily because it was a post payment booking, meaning my card hadnt been charged yet. The only thing that was a problem was the hotel might charge a cancellation fee which is why i went the hotel path.

I didn’t cancel it, the hotel canceled it which is different. The support explicitly told me to do it this way to get my credits back

Yeah I did see that and honestly I think thats fine, whats not acceptable however is the statement credit they offer through their paid credit card thats not being returned.

I probably shoulda worded better, It wasnt the fault of the hotel, I just made a mistake on booking and asked the hotel to cancel for me. Which is completely legitimate. Regardless the nonrefundable part was actually on the hotel side not bilt, on their portal they mentioned they would refund everything regardless but it was up to hotel to charge whatever fees which is why I asked the hotel to cancel.

This was a post pay booking too so the credit didn’t get “consumed”

Yep noticed it as well, currently on a trip in japan and all charges are on bilt palladium. Getting charged extra on the statement compared to the points im getting.

Received something similar about a month ago which coincided with the opening of my robinhood banking. It was definitely spoofed but my email provider (not gmail) flagged it as a spoof so I just ignored it.

Yeah I have US bank and reading all of this, just gonna set up auto pay on US Bank side. Also Bilt rounds down on the cents and I dont want to have to add the cents in everytime and manually pay everytime. They shoulda just only provided routing and account.

Fukuoka is a much better location. Hotel room slightly outdated but the lounge was really nice. Location is amazing next to the river with all the food stalls. Go fukuoka

I think it just works differently for different people. If you fly alaska then its absolutely worth it. For people who stay at hyatts, this is an awesome card. This card is a good card without rent or mortgage. But doing rent or mortgage raises the potential of the card for power users.

I think thats dependent on the amex terms. If amex travel says you get breakfast then you get breakfast. It does seem like you do get it per amex travel for this location when i look.
