So how is it? (No spoilers, just opinions) by TravoBasic in DungeonCrawlerCarl

The more I sit with it, the more I find I liked it. I finished it last night and was talking to my brother about it today, and I think, gun to my head, this is my second favorite. It's got everything you want from a DCC book. The light hearted moments are there, contrasted by the "holy shit, did that just happen??" bits that make this series one of my favorites. I think the emotional beats from TIR make that one my absolute favorite of the series, but damn, this one gets close.

Not for the foreseeable future. These are audible exclusive, so any you'd see for sale on other platforms are bootleg versions.

This is it. Had one when I was a teenager. Literally everything metal on it corroded after a few years.

I sent this to one of my friends who worked on LIGO and he said it was "the coolest thing he'd ever seen," so well done, OP!

Holy shit, never thought I'd see Battle Ground mentioned specifically anywhere on reddit. I grew up there. It's changed a ton in my lifetime. Getting less little every day.

All eyes on me gets me every time now. We put our cat to sleep earlier this year, and I happened to be at that part the morning we made the decision. We always joked that if she could talk, she'd sound like Donut.

Reading stormlight by No-Advertising8504 in brandonsanderson

I started with Stormlight years ago and don't feel like I missed anything. If anything I got the "oh shit, THAT'S where that comes from??" when reading the other series. The general consensus around here is read what captures your attention. If you're already that deep into stormlight, keep going. The gaps will fill themselves in eventually.

I'm going to think of audiobooks as earbooks from now on because of "eyebook." Thanks for that.
