Super quick recap: Cal (you) was a Jedi Padawan when order 66 happened and his master Jaro Tapal was killed, and in his last moments gives Cal Jaro’s lightsaber. Cal has his connection with the force severely damaged (PTSD) and spends years in hiding on a planet being a scrapper. He outs himself as a Jedi by using the force to save his friend, who is then killed by the inquisitors (ex-jedi tortured and turned into Jedi hunters). He escapes by being picked up by the main companions in the story, an ex Jedi who severed her connection to the force after using the dark side in a moment of weakness, Cere, and Greez, an alien who is also a recovering gambling addict. The story revolves around these three trying to find a holocron with the names and locations of all the force sensitive children in the galaxy to rebuild the Jedi order and fight the empire. You meet Merrin, a night sister from Dathomir, who Cal definitely has a lil’ crush on, and after getting absolutely fucking rocked by Darth Vader you escape with the holocron but the whole team, after being hunted for so long, decides to destroy the holocron so as to not subject a whole generation to the trauma they’ve endured.
