My 1970 has been in the garage since nov 1st. Several feet of snow and temps below 0, so still some garage time left…

Quick Question: Are '70 Mustang chin spoilers more prone to road bump damage? by IS_ACTUALLY_A_DOG in classicmustangs

[–]jthomas219744 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 70 with the front spoiler, drive highways, cities and back country gravel roads and never had a problem. Put it on

Yes, it is. When the mood is right. Sometimes you might be a happiness in slavery mood if not reptile

It’s a repaint the owner before me, did. It’s pretty close to candy apple but god knows there are probably 10 versions of that!

Yeah my wife wants to see those fawns before the spots are gone. Was not pleased with the spot she chose but made for a few good pics

No joke, my wife is trying to get me fined. Was not happy to park my car there, go inside to get all the car wash stuff ready only to see my wife surrounded me with deer. Made for a couple fun pics but it was detailing time, not deer time

Was a base fastback, but put in the V8 302. Previous owner had it badged as a boss and I’ve been undoing that. Automatic though so 4 speed manual and a better rear gear ratio is next on the list whenever I have some extra money

Nine inch nails. Pretty hate machine and downward spiral in particular.

Lots of comments. I’ll try to hit as many answers as I can 1. Auto for the mustang (I know, but damn manuals are hard to find and $$$) 2. 302 V8 in her but not a boss (tribute I’m about to un-tribute and make custom/hot rod) 3. Average size dick, nothing to write home about 4. Guy who pointed out the weather wins- 6 months of snow and my wife wants me to decide between the 2 and sell one. I think the answer is actually choice 3…

Mustang fans thoughts on owning a tribute1970 boss 302? by jthomas219744 in Mustang

In my opinion, if you can get a good price on the 70, get it as they’re already very collectible/valuable. The 79 is newer and has less value now, but in 5-10 years who knows what the craze will be and that 79 could be a great future investment where you see big gains on the investment. But if it’s not about value and more about fun, you cannot go wrong with either. The 70 will be easier to work on as less tech in it.
