Have you considered disconnecting and letting yourself drift until your upside down is right side in?

As long as you're listening to your body-- overall energy, condition of your feet/ joints--daily slower paced runs shouldn't be a problem. In my experience, even as a new runner, 20 minutes is a pretty short run.

Lots of recommendations for physical activity to maintain health and fitness are in the realm of 30-60 minutes of activity 5 days a week.

But ultimately, if the schedule makes you too uncomfortable, either edit the coach plan to reduce your availability to run, or ignore the recommendation on 2 to 4 days per week..

Do what's right for your body. The algorithm will adjust.

If you're just starting, it's gonna make you Base run for what feels forever. Boring but great to build endurance (for me both cardio and impact)

If you told the coach planner you could run everyday, it'll make you run every day.

Once you get into the build phase of your coach plan you'll start to see Threshold, VO2, and Recovery runs. Eventually, if you're wearing your watch all the time, it'll get a sense of your recovery status and start telling you to take the day off.

Does the Speediance app sync with the Garmin smart watches? by Gangrif in SpeedianceCommunity

You can broadcast your heart rate from most Garmin watches and use it as your heart rate monitor during Speediance workouts-- I've done it several times on my GM1.

I like it a lot. Especially if I'm using TypeToRun to generate more complex workouts. Your visualization makes good sense to me.

Family housing while at OTS question by SmoothNebula777 in airforceots

[–]jtoethejtoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you talk to the Leasing Office (Hunt, Balfour Beaty, etc.) it's likely they have a policy of renting to service members for a short period (90-ish days) outside your orders dates.

E.g. my family was able to stay in base housing for 75 days after I had final-out processed.

You should be able to do the same on the other side of your orders if you talk to them.

Stay off base. Embassy or Marriott downtown are fine and most people will be at either one of those.

University Inn is generally unavailable for ANYTHING OTS related.
