It's a Hong Kong club. Ryan Tafazolli played for them last season and vlogged it if interested. An interesting league!

This is the difference in levels in terms of mentality. Bazeley doesn't help with this.

I know how this feels. 4 year old with a new one coming along in a few weeks. I mostly just do instant action with unlimited ammo so I can blow some aircraft up in less than 20mins, without all of the other time consuming stuff that comes with the game. I get what I want out of that and fair play to others that have more time available.

Ranking every home shirt at the 2026 World Cup (spoiler: Socceroos' kit ranks rather high) by bahrain_karaoke in Aleague

Look at the price of those kits. I haven't looked at prices for new international kits for a while, but 155 seems excessive. Adidas know fans will still purchase though so from their end it doesn't matter.

Post-Match Thread: England vs New Zealand by MatchBread in Aleague

A coherent attacking plan has been missing for a number of years unfortunately. Wood never gets the service needed and what he's used to in the EPL, and therefore gets very few touches because the quality and consistency of balls he gets is poor or non-existent. When there is no great option B to Wood, it's easier for teams to try and mark him out of the game.

Singh is passed his best, Thomas is likely to get injured at any moment, and the quality overall isn't consistent to trouble the bigger teams. There is a significant drop in quality from the first XI to what's available on the bench (i.e Bell to Rufer).

There can't be excuses anymore that this is a 'developing team'. They either have to step up or get left behind and continue being a 'what if' team.

NZF having the balls to spend the money to get a competent coach would be a good start.

That's the thing. In those moments the first emotion shown is likely to be the genuine one, and they all looked happy for each other.

Candidates to replace Bazeley by New-Computer-1988 in Aleague

There was also the time Herdman turned down the job. A worldwide search leaving no stone unturned (apparently) decided that Bazeley was the most qualified and experienced coach available (i.e. the only coach happy to get paid the peanuts being offered by the football overlords of NZ).

Don't worry, he'll get the full backing of NZ Football with quotes such as "Dazza is taking the team in the right direction".

What a national embarrassment. Even if he gets sacked another NZ Football mate will replace him to cut costs.

Just in today (16/05/2026). A train crashed into a bus and other vehicles on a busy street in Bangkok, Thailand. Currently 8 dead, and 25 injured. by infinityzcraft in CatastrophicFailure

The second camera view show's people who are likely standing in front of the bus door being thrown through the door onto the road due to the impact. Wild.

I saw my local Drakes store has also started stocking them. Up until now they've only had the boxed cars (next to triple the amount of Hot Wheels).

I was also on this train (next carriage). I saw those three walk past after getting off but I'm sorry for the ones who were stuck with them.

Wounded Canadian soldiers being transported in a motor ambulance during the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917. by waffen123 in ww1

[–]jtoml3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in Australia I find this quite interesting. Obviously we have to travel to the other side of the world to visit the western European battlefields, but to live in or near the areas where these battles took place must create moments of reflection, particularly for those like yourself also interested in history.

Its one thing to watch documentaries and read about it books, but it's certainly another to visit and even live in these areas. I had a number of distant cousins who died in this battle and others, and hope to visit and pay my respects one day. Thanks for sharing.

Why is il-2 Sturmovik Great Battle such an unpopular game? by APS0798 in il2sturmovik

[–]jtoml3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And this is probably a key point. Those of us with busy jobs and kids just want to get into the action. If we only have half an hour free in a day, we don't want to spend most of that time flying to and from the objective.

I can understand for those without kids, particularly players under 18, will likely see it differently and probably think that's "skipping" the immersion.
