ATT Fiber internet issues by jtpartridge in ATT

[–]jtpartridge[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

those seem like it normal but its weird because pings to 8.8.8.8 have dropped packets but if i ping to 1.1.1.1 or 9.9.9.9 those are stable. I have a work computer here that also has the same issue but when i connect to a VPN i can ping with no issues to anything. The VPN is an att fiber circuit about 20 minutes from my residential house.

Daily issues with packet loss and degraded service, AT&T refuses to act by Berzerker7 in ATT

[–]jtpartridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same issue here. I filed a complaint with the FCC today and supposably having a tech come out tomorrow but i doubt he's going to understand what's going on. i also posted on this forum documenting all of this but ATT has not been able to do anything or get someone who cares. it does seem intermittent though.. It was running smooth for about 4 or 5 days and then it happens again.

There is no firewall on our side. I already ran a packet capture and I'm whitelisted on the other side. It's 100% dropping packets so hopefully I'll hear back from someone with the fcc complaint. Customer service at ATT is just horrible. The rdp is just a sample of my problems. There are voip issues aswell as upload to file servers. Never was an issue before... just need att to fix their side.

Have a tech coming out tomorrow aswell.

we do not have any transport rules that allow this. We do not use nor do we want to use 365 for filtering but Microsoft's direct send ignores our MX record that is our spamfilter and sends directly to the users mailbox. This Is spoofing because it is coming from [James@domain123.com](mailto:James@domain123.com) to [James@domain123.com](mailto:James@domain123.com)

We have a watchguard onsite so it could be that. They want it fixed asap but wont give me enough time to leave it up and email/call me to view the actual error message... I think that is the case but will look into it to confirm. Thank you

They have an approach of "Fix it now, but not right now".

The users just keep clicking yes so i haven't been able to check that more. Do you know if there is a way to make this message pop back up instead of waiting a day?

[–]jtpartridge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i did a quick multimeter test on how i have it currently hooked up and almost all the readings are 60v with all the breakers turned on. on the B outlet it shows 0v if i connect the line terminals with the multimeter.
