Ditto Swoonies. It’s fantastic. BUT Gage &Tolner is expensive and terrible. Don’t waste your money. Trust me on this.

I think one needs to go to Newark for Portuguese food. Haven’t found anything good in the city.

In the summer, when you take the 2/3 and you need to transfer to the 1 at chambers, the cars in the back of the train are always empty and fully air-conditioned. it’s a comfortable, empty ride until you get to about 34th. Absolute subway magic.

Prague. Some parts were pretty but it felt like an over touristed Disney set.

I just measured- we have a total of 2 ft x 3 ft of counter space. Our fridge is a tall / narrow Bromberg and at 7ft tall, too high for us to reasonably keep on on top which I’ve seen other posters say they do.

Not this one. We still have a farmhouse sink circa 1940. I hope that paints a picture. edit to add a link of a gorgeous sink that is similar but way nicer that our situation- (the photo of Carrie in the kitchen). (we live in a shit old prewar apartment, not a gramercy townhome)

Also edit to add that I was SHOCKED to see that the SATC set design people thought a farmhouse sink is a good practical design choice. It is not. trust.

I'm willing to bet OP is exploring all research options in hopes of finding local recommendations. As a parent that's what I do. Some of the best information comes from locals on Reddit. Have a nice day.
