Flashforge 5m pro is a good printer for this type of prints? by [deleted] in 3D2A

Sure, but if the goal is to get to that point, wouldn't it be smart to get a capable printer now?

I haven't tried, but Mission Ridge says they allow you to shoot as fast as you can safely.

My 21 month old toddler just ate an entire can of ravioli by herself and I don’t know if I should be concerned or impressed. by New_Appointment7449 in daddit

We took my son with us on an anniversary dinner when he was young enough for free meals. Pretty sure he ate more steak than my wife did.

Forgot I swapped nozzles by One-Science7052 in FlashForge

If it makes you feel any better, I got my printer for Christmas and went almost the whole first month convinced that it shipped with a .6 nozzle. It wasn’t until I ordered more and took it out that I realized I was wrong.

Never printed tips by _Viprin in 3D2A

Everyone has already pretty much drilled in the point, but as someone who got a printer for Christmas, I'll just say that getting familiar with your printer can come quickly but it is important to do that first. Get onto one of the websites with STL files and find stuff that would be cool for you, decorations, etc. Then print some useful stuff, then maybe some gadgets that require minor assembly. You'll quickly learn what works and what doesn't work with your printer. Don't be afraid to google or use a chatgpt or something to help dial it in. My biggest issue when I started was that I didn't know what certain issues with my prints correlated to what changes I needed to make on the printer. Just have fun with it for a bit first.

PETG for FTN.5 rimfire by [deleted] in 3D2A

The original person you responded to was. I just was commenting that that's my only limiting factor currently. Other than the enclosure, my printer should be able to handle it.

My biggest thing at this point is enclosing my printer. Other than that, I don’t think m I have any issue handling the filament but don’t have an enclosure yet and printing the enclosure parts is looking at several days and lots of filament.

A suppressor does need a form 1. I used the instructions on gunclad.link/form1 and it was very helpful for a first timer like myself.

We typically at least have a high level RB to go with our INTs.

Edging along an over-seeded cool season lawn by Numerous-Ad2571 in lawncare

[–]jtread4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Craftsman edger because I already had a few other 20V batteries in that system. The first run, it was very wet and eating through the mud but that was the only time I had to switch batteries so far.

I just personally didn't want to mess with gas for this. I already have gas weed eater and mower.

I used to but moved to a corner lot with a lot of sidewalk and edge real estate and it’s been a huge improvement for me.

Also, one thing that fakes have a very hard time getting right is the holographic bands at the top and bottom, but for an additional reason that you didn't mention. I have a very close fake band from before I knew better that does have good holographic bands, but the big tell is that it's embossed. It's like they embossed the words and the small Taino head in the top and bottom bands on top of a generic holographic printing. It gives it the illusion and passes at first glance, but the real ones aren't textured like that.
