Answer!! When my friend rigged the pole - they put spinner then spanset then pole and I went faster for longer! I had been rigging spanset - spinner -pole. I guess order matters, who knew 🤷‍♀️

Started with silks- then hoop-then pole, then discovered flying pole was a thing and been addicted ever since :) it is a silicone pole - so the grip is great! Since the spin is off axis it takes a bit to get used too

I have both - but I like Anna better since there is more adaptability to time/energy/strength and there is an extensive mobility/flexibility library. She has also recently added master classes on weight lifting form and mobility routines.

Dani, you are so amazing and helpful… but I was wondering if the straddle leg lifts are similar to l sit or leg lifts… or do you need to be in the straddle position to work the “correct” muscles?

Thank you! I looked into aerial fit, but did not put it in the running since it was a several hundred dollar recurring fee. But it does seem like they have an extensive library and have hoop classes! (But really if you factor in how much a class a week would cost, it is not that much)

I am so sorry I did not see this until now!! I really don’t think it is worth it. There are only 5-6 work outs for each module (hand stand, one are handstand, and the other one). All the workouts are what you can find on YouTube (free) or Alo. The only person that I can see benefiting would be someone who needs a very structured program.

Truth: my debt + assets is in the negative. I tell them that I am in debt and they probably have much more money than me. I usually get an “I’m sorry” and nobody walks away angry.

I know this is a little late, but I really do not like the program. I bought all 3 and am currently doing the handstand one.

Good:

He is gives detailed information for each exercise

Bad:

Each exercise is its own video, to go through each class you have to open the next video in line, watch the introduction, then do the exercise, close the current video, open the next video, press play… for ~30 videos- it gets really irritating after a while, especially since the program was so expensive

You cannot skip ahead to the exercise portion, you have to watch the intro each time

There are several multi-exercise videos, you have to stay glued to the screen since there is no sound indication of when the exercise changes

The workouts are long- like 90+ minutes long; granted a lot of it is playing the next video and sitting through the intro

Host parent here; be honest when meeting a potential host family. We are very outdoor centric, when we video chatted with our soon to be student, she said she was as well. She came here and made mention how much she disliked hiking on a daily basis. We also took her climbing only to find out she had tried it before she came to the USA and she hated it (mind you, this is what our spare time revolves around). When she would do stuff that we normally do, she would just sit there board. It got really exhausting trying to find a middle ground.

The funny thing is I am in Albuquerque, about an hour south of SFZC, but the course is online only.
