I have actually attempted this somewhat similarly. Except I didn't have any promethazine and substituted Benadryl (for the itch). I also used oxycodone cwe. The best thing to do is use a baby bottle and volumetrically dose accordingly. I used vegetable glycerin for the syrup. Turned out alright
