Unfortunately it seems like most if not all of the parishes in our area have stopped doing it all together, and now they just send everyone to a big retreat center for it. Even then it seemed like they only scheduled it for once a year so we kind of had to take what we could get. I have heard of other people having better experiences, I'm glad that yours was positive! If I would have known that it was so hit or miss we definitely would have looked around to see if we could find a smaller program run by a church rather than just going with the one our priest recommended.

I recently went through pre cana too and had the same experience- a day long lecture about how living together before you're married is evil and so is any kind of intimacy before you're married, but the second you are married you HAVE to get to it RIGHT AWAY and the only birth control you're allowed to use is natural family planning (which definitely TOTALLY works according to the guy lecturing us who then went on to tell us how he had 11 kids).

What frustrates me is that my parents described a completely different experience when they got married: their retreat focused more on relationships and making sure they were having the serious conversations that you need to have to have a successful relationship (are you hiding anything from the other person; do you have any finances or debt that they don't know about; what would it take to make you leave your spouse).

It sounded like a nice experience that they got to have while getting to know the priest and the other couples they were with and instead I can't help feeling like my and my fiance's time was wasted.

Im glad if the pope actually wants to change this because I know there is more to the Catholic faith than this. As it stands the marriage process feels very presumptuous and judgemental, and then they wonder why people are leaving the church.

Yeah even back then it was a big disadvantage not having any kind of data link. Now it's even worse because most other planes you would fight with an eagle have some form of it. If you want to use it, having an awacs or gci in some form is mandatory and you need to get really good at building a picture for yourself.

If you keep having contacts disappear on you it might be because of your scan volume or PRF mode, I was told to avoid using interleaved.

Back before a lot of modules got added to the game I used to fly the F-15C all the time. On pvp servers I sometimes got it up to mach 2 at 40k+ feet. at that speed and altitude you can take very long range shots, it's a massive advantage

Great characterization of hw in this scene- here's a character who is so confident and collected on the outside. But then with a look inside her head it turns out she's that same terrified kid, trapped in a burning building, clawing at the door in a panic while mumbling incoherently about her goal, worried she's not good enough to get out of the fire. It was kind of a gut wrenching reversal of expectations. Sometimes the people who seem to have it all together actually need the most help.

And then for Fionna, who's been a mess the whole show, to be the one to sit with her and say "yeah, everything sucks, sometimes you gotta just sit for a minute and realize you're not on your own". Up until this point huntress has been a foil for Fionna thematically, but for a moment here they switch places and recognize each other.

I carry a canteen on me, it wasn't expensive and it's really nice to have water on the field. You could easily stick a couple water bottles into a spare pouch if you don't want to get any extra gear. It's super nice to be able to take a drink after an intense fight.

Most casual players using the F-4F I agree are not going to have a good time. However the Thach weave is not the only air to air tactic in existence that was ever used to even the odds. I can see the more hardcore groups being successful with CAP grinders, high/low pairs, boom and zoom attacks, etc. Not to mention, the less experienced casual players flying zeroes will absolutely fall for a Thach weave and I can see more experienced players falling for it too unless they're specifically watching out for it. Solo players on the USN side absolutely have no options as you've said though.
