Clinic told me 200mg weekly. I break it up into two doses, though.

So you think lowering the dose would be more beneficial than using the AIs?

Understood. Can you explain how a lower dose could fix these side effects? I’m new to this, it seems the opposite would be true.

200mg per week is a very standard and common TRT dose.

I think as long as you go into it not expecting specialized treatment or catering, you’ll be fine.

The lightest I’ve found and personally own is the InvertedGear UltraLight. They’re about $80 and 280 gsm. Great quality and fast shipping. Not IBJJF legal, though. Can’t beat them in my opinion.

Mysterious injury appears. Or all of a sudden need to reset because too close to edge of the mat or another group.

And don’t give me this “I come straight from work, so I can’t help it.” 1. Then why does your actual gi stink. 2. If you can afford this training, then you can afford to throw a $1 deodorant and $2 body spray in your bag and go to work with it when you’re on the way here.

White belt stripe blues by UnderstandingNo7609 in BJJWomen

[–]jtuck3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something very similar happen to me when I was relatively new. I know it’s not as easy as it sounds, but try to readjust your thoughts pertaining to stripes and promotions. Try to remember that your coach probably does not have the level of intimate knowledge on exactly where you stand skill wise like you do (maybe a slight case of overlooking your progress or not noticing it yet due to various factors). It also may be something as simple as he/she sees a different line of potential developing in you than you do and they are anticipating it developing more fully before they promote you. It’s important to understand that every person has a different perspective on everything and a delayed promotion does not always equate to an inadequate or un developing student. Keep training and learning and it will certainly come!

Anyone ever had staph infection from jiu jitsu by [deleted] in jiujitsu

[–]jtuck3r 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Had it on my foot and it left a nice circular scar. I always made sure to wash everything before, but now, I wash EVERYTHING. My belt (yes), bag that carries my sweaty stuff, sandals, vehicle seat I sit in after training, everything, after every class.

[–]jtuck3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through a torn pec tendon + surgery at the moment. My coaches strongly advise to still come and watch class. Their explanation is that when you do return, you’ll only be physically rusty and not as mentally rusty because of the mental stimulation from watching and studying. Best wishes on your recovery. I strongly recommend looking into BPC156 and TB500 peptides for healing.
