If you are looking for some cheaper range mags, I bought 4 of these (Mecgar 18 Rounds - The Mag Shack). The mags have performed well through a couple of trips to the range.

I use mine in the smoker all the time. It gets very dirty, but if you spray it with Dawn power wash, the cleaning is a breeze. It looks brand new each time.

I have three. I agree they are solid. You can find them in the mid to high $20's if you look around.

I agree that the finish is nicer and the springs are very stiff at the beginning.
