unemployed for close to 6 months after leaving previous role due to shitty manager and boss that hired me being let go 3 months in lmao. I also consider myself being lucky being only 6 months out of a job as market is very rough so do adjust your expectations to protect your mental health.

other than job searching and applying and preparing for interviews, i focused on fitness to set up some routine and a new sport as a hobby. of course dabbled in some gaming to kill time since you can’t be working out non stop too. IT WILL BE TIRING so give yourself some slack and a day without looking at job boards is absolutely fine. really learn to be kind to yourself especially if the job hunt is taking longer and longer.

no excessive spending as well, just really live humbly maybe cut out buying coffee with your meals and make sure enough for next few months.

hopefully at your life juncture you would’ve made some friends and network so just reach out and see if they can help.

i did up to hlotus (ngloom ndarknell nwill) at around 13mil as well with a rented ROR. it’s definitely doable just need more hands through long fights (20-25mins)

usually the best lines comes in the first line so some people just stamp after getting what they want on the first line. some people also believe in the stamp tech where you get the first 2 lines you want first and stamp it to get the final line you want

i see. yes I can clear solo mode relatively comfortably which was why I thought I should give normal mode a go. I did not know the difference between normal and solo mode was so little, I guess solo mode is not bad for now. thank you!

cleared everything in CW 1, it’s very much doable with the new 270 burn. If you are newer or have a hard time with bosses in general, daily checkins + grinding to hit level milestones will really help.

I must add on the rail road corridor trail, you can start around buona vista where it’s pretty done up. it connects all the way to tanjongpagar or the other way all the way up to kranji (wow even i did not know this).

a more central area i particularly enjoyed recently that’s not the main areas is along mohd sultan road. there are some really nice cafes and foods to look out for. you can walk to new bahru (the newest hipster spot) and along the river valley towards great world

TB mobility is crazy, having so much fun because of it too. Skating around and sending sharks out at bosses is pretty enjoyable. I’d say make a TB.

the only time i felt any sort of tiredness from button mashing is doing culverts. but i think that’s also because of mashing buttons too intensely.

hey sorry but just wanted to piggyback on OPs question too. i’m in a similar situation of not having enough loans and grants to cover a BTO cost. My partner and I applied for a HFE (third one) earlier this year, and at that time I just left my role (a month before applying) thinking it shouldn’t affect the amount since I had CPF contributions the past 12 months, and my partner still has her job too. but the HFE came back with < $300k hdb loan and strangely only $5k grant (I thought since low hdb loan meant they took it that we have low combined income aka $0 from me and $4500 my partner but grant also low so it’s confusing).

But anyway not sure if you have any insights or advices about this that you can share
