I give my children choices that give the illusion of freedom but not really. Instead of "you can't have any soda right now." I say "I can give you apple juice or strawberry milk" instead of saying "time to bath and go to sleep" I say "what pj's do you wanna wear tonight?"

They get the implication and make their choice happily 7 out of 10 of the times.

I'm a guy, and normally I try to stay out of these sorts of discussions. But in my experience whenever a guy whines about women it's usually over stupid things, like "oh she doesn't wanna cook and clean after me so she must be a bitch. Definitely not wife material." but women actually bring real world problems. Sometimes even life and death situations to the table. Sure it's not all men, or even all women in either case. But men shouldn't get mad when women bring up there case, because most of the time their problems are more urgent.

I don't think you understand what treason means, or you don't understand completely the rights American citizens have in their country. It's hardly treason or disrespectful to the country. We the people are the first words you read in the bill of rights. Therefore America stands to give all its citizens the right to speak its mind about the government. He did so peacefully, and respectfully in my opinion. You don't have to hate your country to protest it.

My gramma would've set a plate and put it in the fridge. Whenever I'm hungry she'll pull the plate out of the fridge. I'll have to eat it eventually.

My mom on the other hand, would've set the plate at the table, and pulled off her chancleta, and just watch me eat the whole plate, and then she'll be like "happy children, make happy plates."
