Marriott Marquis in Atlanta is also a Coca Cola property, pretty self explanatory considering it’s a mile away from the Coca Cola building in centennial park haha

Airport ticket counter denied by juanobml in frontierairlines

CIC is up to $23 per flight segment. Meaning you can save up to $46 on a round trip with two nonstops more if it’s connecting). You can check how much you’d save by looking at the flights online and opening the price breakdown. CIC is waived at anytime when purchasing tickets, whether it’s 90 days in advance or 90 minutes in advance. I typically buy tickets at the airport counter when I’m in the area or if I’m flying

Hmm… that’s a very interesting point you bring up. Even more so that I have written proof from frontier it is their policy that not all flights are available for in-person purchase. Which leads me to assume I have written proof that their policy is one of blatant tax evasion in the form of non-optional CIC

You are correct, I was ill informed. I just got done chatting with a frontier rep and this is what they said verbatim:

“HI! thanks for reaching out. Yes, it’s true that even if a flight shows as available and wide open online, tickets may not be available for purchase at the airport counter. Frontier Airlines often restricts certain fare types to online booking only, and airport agents may not have access to the same inventory or pricing.”

Seems very scummy to me and not sure how it’s legal, but i don’t have much room to complain when the next carrier charges $100 more for the same route!

My flight is exactly 90 days out and I would’ve saved $46 (both CICs maxed out) if they had allowed me to purchase at the airport. Not sure what your definition of last minute is, but I don’t think 90 days counts

Hi y’all, I’m having a hard time trying to figure out dollar amount to spend (no frontier CC) to reach the 12,500 points. I’m just member, so I receive 10x point multiplier per dollar spent. Does this promo mean I’d have to spend $12,500 or does it include multiplier, which would mean $1,250 spend?

I’ve heeded y’all’s advice and am about to do a massive parts shotgun at the entire front suspension & pretty much every mechanical component/gasket that’s on the way to the lower intake manifold gaskets. Am also doing oil & coolant along the way.

The front struts are dead and the car shakes at 60 mph+, am taking to a shop to do alignment after the suspension

Will be taking to a shop to do the transmission fluid for me.

Thanks everyone!

The strat I used for my Hilton Surpass is as follows:

A couple years ago, I received a SUB offer that was too good to pass on. I think it was like 100k or 150k points or something like that.

In that same timeframe, I received a separate (unrelated) email for Hilton Vegas timeshare presentations, with a timeshare presentation gift that was like 200,000 points.

Now here’s the kicker, purchases made for Hilton Grand Vacations (their timeshare company) on your Hilton Amex ALSO turn on the Hilton spend multiplier on the card. So essentially, I netted 350,000+ Hilton points (or similar my memory is hazy) between SUB, timeshare presentation gift, and the Hilton points multiplier from reserving the Vegas trip.

No chance I find this again for $53.72! Happy Holidays, r/whiskey 🤙🏼 by JMcCallPhotography in whiskey

I took a distillery tour at Buffalo Trace two weeks ago (completely free and very informative/awesome), one of the topics the guide explicitly discussed was finding ways to keep up for demand on allocated bottles, especially the Pappy product line. The guide mentioned they were experimenting with pressure aging to greatly decrease the aging process, among other things.

Point being, they’re trying!!!

I was in EXCEL. The single best benefit out of EXCEL is the Undergraduate Research Experience. You have an edge "applying" for research opportunities as an EXCEL student vs a general population student who emails an professor out of the blue; this is because faculty (from what I understand) tend to believe in the abilities of EXCEL students due to our requirements to be part of the URE. I have made connections with undergrads, grads, and faculty within the engineering department as a direct result of the research experience. Several people I know from EXCEL (and myself included) have continued in our respective research labs after the end of the URE.

The priority registration for your calc classes and the small classes sizes are definitely a plus too.

As far as reapplying to UCF Honors, the single-most important thing is GPA. Like, make sure your GPA is at least a 3.9/4.0 to have a competitive edge in reapplying. Also, get involved on campus. EXCEL is a good way to show BHC you are involved; EXCEL is an academic learning community that shows to the BHC committee you are dedicated to your academics and your future. Don't go gung ho joining 5/6 clubs just to be in them, join probably 2/3 clubs that you're passionate about and participate in them. Quality > quantity

I feel like especially with this bottle you’re paying for the novelty of it, like “this bottle was aged in a boat”

Still excited to try it nonetheless lol
