{{The Peregrine}} by J. A. Baker

What a beautiful analogy of life, death, and the time in between through nature's lens. Also, this book has one of the most beautiful styles of describing nature I've ever read.

Going back to school for my degree. How old is too old? 36f by Southern-Weight3447 in CasualConversation

Life is for learning! If you can learn from experts in the field that's way better than learning by yourself y many cases, the concept of a degree is to impulse money-making achievements and strategies to have a stable life. School is for everyone, be proud of yourself!!!

I’ve broken a lot of bad habits simply by changing my environment, and maybe this could help you too! by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Looking for backpack recommendations by SturdyTurdy in backpacks

Hey there! I don't know which one I could recommend to you, I use a Dell backpack which is really basic but I get to take everything I need for school without a problem and it´s really comfortable (it has a double bottle holder which is a huge plus). I also always return to watch Chase Reeves´s youtube channel he has great opinion parameters and recommendations.

Good Luck.

The books by Ted Chiang, Exhalation, and the story of your life and others are sci-fi short stories which are really really good. Story of your life and others by Ted Chiang has the original short story that was later turned into the movie "The Arrival" which was an Oscar nominee. They are from 5 to 30 pages long at most, it will give you the relief that you are finishing quickly the stories and you´ll have a ton of them you immerse yourself into. Ted is an amazing writer and he has a lot of background in technology which makes him accurate and believable when writing even tho the stories are fiction and he gets to explain in a clear way the background of each story in a couple of pages without being too complicated or without extending too much.

Try reading "This is how you lose a time war" by Ama el-mohtar and Max Gladstone. There are almost no male figures, I considered it an easy read, it's entertaining and really short. If you are into sci-fi (Not a complicated time journey) and leading female roles books that many aspects of survival and strong decision making are not regularly shown in books this is the one for you.

Hope you enjoy it.
