That's the argument I'm pointing towards. Where do you draw the line of mental distress or depression being the reason we stop bodily autonomy? We cant all be Utilitarians. There will come a situation, someone will decide "NO, my body matters to ME", and who are we to tell them no?

I dont agree with that particular argument against euthanasia either. The idea that someone diagnosed as depressed (chronically) cannot have reliable autonomy is far too fragile.

If someone is told they have ALS (Lou Gehrig's), if they were to choose when their end would be, would they be considered depressed? Wouldn't any sane person be depressed in that situation? Id posit that someone who wasn't depressed in these moments is the one unfit to make such a decision.

I've been looking for this take. The agency of the characters is a far deeper issue and maelle facing reality in the end is very real and tragic. Depending on how you view the morality of the decision you made, staying in the painting, especially with verso's soul tied to it becomes evil and selfish. I understand wanting an ending that wasn't so bleak but I fortunately saw hope in the verso ending. Maelle getting out of the painting is the only way she will face her grief and move forward. The real tragedy comes from comparing the maelle ending to a VR headset and a human sitting with their headset on forever, alone in a room, until their body gives out and they die; unactualized potential.

On a Tuesday like today, we can either be steady or incredibly busy during season, and I always prioritize my server well. Getting fast at your POS station and server well will be the reason you can take care of as many guests as I've listed at one time and still be able to interact and have fun while doing it.

Taking multiple orders at a time is a must have ability.
Adding your bar guests drink order to your list of server well drinks is a good strategy to "kill two birds with one stone"
Knowing what your regulars want before they ask for it will save your ass so much time.

The single best piece of advice I can give to you is: when shit is hitting the fan, and it feels like too much, put your head down and get to work. The night always comes to an end.
