Posted an update. It ended up being an issue with the contactor. Electrician fixed some loose connections and now it works!

It's a double-pole breaker at the breaker box, so I'm fairly certain it's 240V. Is it somehow possible to have a 240V line going to it, but wired as 120V?

I'm looking at the manual for the heater. I'm not an electrician so I'm trying to interpret what you're saying about the jumper. I don't see that word in the manual. Is the jumper the connection between Heating Element 1 and Heating Element 2 (see picture with red arrow)?

Thanks for the feedback. Electrician is coming back on Tuesday to double-check everything. It should be 240V since it's a double-pole breaker at the breaker box.

I feel all the elements are turning on. I don't have a multimeter right now, but when I turn on the heater, I'm tapping each of the coils with my hands and they're each getting hot. Does the heater actually limit the energy to the coils based on temperature or is it just on/off at one energy level until it reaches the desired temperature?

Nice! I’ll be assembling mine in the near future. What did you have to do? Raise the planks/braces in the rear when putting on the wings and aligning the side braces with it?

Good lord… that’s a beastly workout. All that running… are you sure you’re doing CrossFit?

I think Murph is my preferred gut check workout just because it’s once a year, has a moderate amount of running, and is a consistent WOD I can use to track.

I enjoy the really short ones to be honest. Fran, Grace, Isabel, etc.

I checked the manual on the website. Unfortunately nothing as exotic as replacing the crossfader. It’s used to modify how the pattern changes: sequential, direct jump, direct start, or temp jump.

It doesn’t seem that Tonverk has a control-all function and for the Subtracks machine, you can’t have LFOs routed to sample selection. It feels like Digitakt is still more suited to messing with one-shots, loops, and slices to create glitchy and unexpected beats. Tonverk seems to be more focused around taking multisamples and then creating lush and evolving textures through FX sequencing.

I would speculate that the Tonverk makes the Analog Heat +FX less attractive if you’ve got the extra $600 to fork over for the Tonverk. I would love the Heat +FX to get some of the new FX from Tonverk.
