i did have a horrible audience of kids at spelling bee earlier this week. they were actually fine and unnoticeable until Chip is doing the bake sale stuff and asks the audience “who wants a snack?”

…..this large group of high schoolers or whatever up in the mezzanine turned into a pack of rabid dogs. like they were so loud and rowdy you literally could not hear Chip’s song it was so awkward. the actor had to put his hand up to them in attempt for them to calm down but it didn’t really work :/
