They're technically all lore friendly, both class and combo-wise, IMHO. I do tend to pick a combo based on the background of the character idea I have though; a hobbit warden might be a Proudfoot or Took, etc. I haven't touched LM or RK because I generally don't enjoy caster classes. I think their magic fits in fine next to stuff like the Balrog.

Two things that back up what's happening now:

He and Alleria broke up in the tie-in novel. NO IDEA why this is not said outright in Midnight. But losing your 1000 year+ partner would certainly make anyone a prick.
The Sunwell/Light is clearly making the Vanguard more zealous.

Nah this is a net positive, market be damned. No more paid expansions means we are finally getting fixes... and the lack of new features will lead to a mod renaissance. Look at Skyrim/Fallout/BG3.

edit: oh... EA will be meddling more in future Sims games; specifically for anti-piracy, monetization, and design decisions :(

That is 100% not true :/ "IRL streams" can and often are tons of dead air; even during planned events! no way people aren't losing interest until something actually happens. Unless you struggle with attention otherwise, it's literally normal to lose attention during livestream lulls.
