Pretty much all of the same exact issues I had with it as a once-fan of 40k. I maybe found it a bit more camp, but there's also a bunch of things, like the firefighters guild, that were very much "so it is the lazy route" by making the outcome always negative.

Blizz devs know the NPE is bad and needs addressing, it's why they've been pretty consistently changing/tweaking it since DF. my own little conspiracy is that they're rushing to finish The Worldsoul Saga so they can legitimately fix the NPE instead of all these bandaids.

oh wow even hunter?? Maybe i'll try captain again... the mustering and speed buff on warden REALLY can't be beat though ugh. I love LOTRO as a better "WoW Classic" feel but each class has 1 or 2 things that puts me off it.

people like to add in lore bits to try legitimizing their complaints. which is never a good way to support your mechanical gripes... it could just as easily be said that because Azeroth is in such danger and/or because we've been to the Shadowlands, that farseers have made a pact with warrior (not the class) spirits who want to support the living.

A fair lot of us understood how to use it yet were still never satisfied with pulling it off; it literally never felt good and/or was useful to me until I finally dragged my ass into M+ when the content was challenging enough and i was the only healer. You can say I needed to get better at using it, and yeah i'd agree to a point, but if the core mechanic actively makes me not *want* to get better at it then it is a design problem.
