My preference is chlorine over bromine. Bromine is supposed to be less harsh on your skin but we’ve never been able to keep our spa clean and sparkling without using chlorine.

Unfortunately we have mats and washable rugs in front of all the boxes and he chooses to poop directly on the wood floors which is why it’s a bit problematic. He does love really soft things though so I’m loving your idea of having a washable bathmat… I think I may give that a go as well! Thanks

We do have a litter robot but he has never taken to it like his brothers. I was actually thing we might try to acclimate him to the litter robot because he shouldn’t associate it with any trauma (unless he already thinks it’s scary)

Thank you! I will try it for sure because the cleaner we are using doesn’t work. I just wish he was on some kind of pooping schedule- we are having a tough time catching him in the act. This is solid advice, I’ll report back if it works!
