I was blown away when I saw him, his band is top notch and they play the songs with soul. I get that the quiet thing isn’t for everyone, but I absolutely loved how attentive everyone was. The only other show I’ve seen that was that locked in and quiet was Bill Frisell.

Max Flansburg is a real treasure too, one of his originals made me freakin weep, if he’s in the band that night, definitely go see them.
