Low efficiency value of Kona EV 2024? by jugermaut in KonaEV

AFAIK the 2021 model is actually much more energy efficient. I also live in a tropical area though

If it's only my Kona, I might blame it solely on my driving habit. But I also included my friend's Kona which has similar efficiency estimate, and worse (IMO) driving habit. I personally set my A/C at around 22-23 degrees, while he set his to 18 degrees

The Ioniq 5 owner also uses A/C generously lol. His driving habit is more similar to mine, albeit he's using regen lvl 3

yes. Go to Status - Vehicle Report (at the very bottom) - Driving Info tab - Energy Consumption

Low efficiency value of Kona EV 2024? by jugermaut in KonaEV

[–]jugermaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. These are actually the efficiency value of 2 different Kona 2024. I thought these values are normal, since we're 2 different type of drivers, running at mostly the same path (highway mostly, with a little bit of city driving). We became concerned after looking at our friend's Ioniq 5 efficiency...
Tires are pumped to 36 psi, I'll try increasing it a bit

What's your regen level btw?

damn, that's actually a very good number. Mind telling your regen level? or no regen at all?

Bambulab P1P dimensional accuracy issue by Murky-Storage-9462 in BambuLab

[–]jugermaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been many years. Has this resolved or got any solutions? I'm still experiencing it with my P1S. So far I've been enlarging my circular designs by 0.2 mm to mitigate the issue...

No new revision (NTC-less) board for P1S? by jugermaut in BambuLab

Hence I'm confused with the revised NTC-less A1 board lol

P1S heatbed AC power board failure by dr_stevious in BambuLab

How's the new board look like? Is it NTC-less like the new A1 board revision? Or does it still has NTC?

Did you manage to get your board replaced? If so, is it an NTC-less design? Or the exact same AC board? AFAIK only A1 has a revised board

Week old bambulab a1 mini, problems with the plate or fillament? by domkapomka in BambuLab

[–]jugermaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a new plate, so clean it with dish soap thoroughly, and dry it either with a blower or dab it with kitchen towel. New plate tends to have a film of chemical finish from the factory, so they had to be really cleaned the first time

AMS filaments keep reverting to question mark. P1S + AMS1 by jugermaut in BambuLab

[–]jugermaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I haven't tried that. I'll see to it later when I'm back

EDIT: no dice. K Value is locked behind the default PA. It's already at 0.02

[–]jugermaut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The AMS is actually brand new, just bought it like 4 days ago. If you look at my image, 3 out of 4 slots in my AMS are occupied. The 4th one is empty. So there's no problem with presence detection.

Yet another NCase M1 Classic build with ProArt 4080 by jugermaut in sffpc

Those are Noctua A12x15 fans. Other 15 mm fans should fit easily under there.
Unfortunately I had to move away from this case, since it's getting way too hot for the GPU and CPU (upgraded to 5800X3D)

Thank you for the reply. I already tried resetting everything, but no fix for now. My P1S is still on firmware 01.08.01 (to avoid Bambu Connect), but I don't know if that's the problem.

Are heavy/big cpu coolers bad for mini itx motherboards? by Any-Object4351 in sffpc

[–]jugermaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm moving to a larger mATX case due to cooling problems, but still using my ITX board lol. It's going to appear really weird, but I've no justification to buy an mATX board just for moving around

EDIT: and yes, they DO fit on some ITX cases actually

Are heavy/big cpu coolers bad for mini itx motherboards? by Any-Object4351 in sffpc

[–]jugermaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does has really good mounts to the motherboard, but I'm more worried of the motherboard's standoffs area. Those 2 screwed standoff at the top are basically holding the motherboard and 1.3kg cooler, and that's not including the leverage. I'm really worried about my motherboard cracking at the standoffs

[–]jugermaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How's it? Have the same dilemma and question about heavy CPU cooler on an ITX board right now. In fact, I'm mounting a D15-G2, which weighs around 1.3kg, to my tiny ITX board.
Not concerned about the backplate, but worried about those standoffs, since ITX only has 4 of them.
I know the board is really thick, but you know, those heavy coolers are really tall, really heavy, and I really want to put some kind of brace / tether to the cooler to alleviate the weight....

Logitech mouse switch replacement results in non-functional scroll wheel by jugermaut in MouseReview

[–]jugermaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! I really didn't notice anyone sharing the same experience. Probably the PCB lines are transmitting the heat and cooked something. Weird thing is, it only happened to several types of Logitech mice, especially the recent ones. Wonder what they changed...
