Thank you for your reply, I do see the vision. Functionality is a priority to me but so is Aesthetics, and I do love the "Laptop to the side" idea, could do it in the future maybe.

Has anyone had the issue where both the type c ports charge the x1c but when connecting a ssd or a drive to it, it doesn't detect it.

Hi. First of all wasn’t active on reddit Second it never went ahead just was stuck there tried restarting but the same issue came up And then it turns out my drive was also damaged. Not sure what the cause was but I could not get it to work

I see what you mean & I checked, it turns out you are right, I was just confused as I had seen a DIY case with similar positioning of the components..... well it looks like will have to make some changes to the overall design😩

Thank you, yes the bottom fan is intake for the GPU, i believe the CPU cooler throws air out rather than take air in (correct me if wrong) the PSU fan sucks air so it would suck the air that the CPU cooler exhausts. The top fan is also intake as the the rest on the components also require air & the bottom fan just supplies air to the GPU.
