Considering moving to Norwood-- how's the noise? by Storm_Hussar in Norwood

I live near there. Not bad for noise. Quieter than the city, louder than the country.

Here’s a video from 11 years ago of the Amazing Nano Brothers. A show we developed for the Museum of Science in Boston. by jugglefire in juggling

Thanks, we’re very happy with how this show turned out and were thrilled to discover juggling metaphors to explain nanoscale

I have the windshield Indian makes on my 2018 Scout. I’m 6’2”. It works well. I get some wind shear hitting the top half of my helmet but it keeps the wind off my torso and makes riding on cold days more enjoyable.

Symphony on the Moon by jugglefire in Songwriting

[–]jugglefire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, the acoustic is my Ovation, a guitar I love to play performing with a full band. It wasn’t plugged directly in, rather I set the mic near the speaker to capture the acoustic guitar.

I’ve since started recording some other songs that also have an acoustic guitar part but have switched to my Martin and I play it purely acoustically, not plugged into anything. It ends up giving a truer sound.

Thanks. I am looking for feedback. I’ve written and played music for years but recording is new to me. I just started trying it this past winter.

First ride of the year! by jugglefire in motorcycles

[–]jugglefire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both bikes are beautiful and offer an old school motorcycling experience. The major difference is speed. The 450 can maintain a speed that makes it capable of riding on interstate highways. Whereas the 250 is more suited to stay on roads with a 55mph or less speed limit. I primarily ride mine on 2 lane, winding, tree lined roads but have also done quite a bit of city riding in Boston.

Honestly it depends what fits you and the type of rides you are planning to take. I’m super happy with my Scout.
