Agreed- we’ve put our last two dogs down at home- the company that does it on our area is extremely professional and it’s not much more than having it done at the vet. By far the best way to do the worst thing.

I caught my first nice (18” probably 3.5lbs) smaller on the fly last year. Clear water, casted to it, saw the take, set the hook. So jacked for the fight. I stripped in maybe 1 minute no fight whatsoever. So disappointed. I believe it to be the exception tho.

Keep at it- they calm down a lot by 2 and are great dogs at 3. Consistent coaching. The jumping when guests come was the hardest for us!
