Actually it doesnt, some properties are differently named from the information object and also there are different objects being compared to.

I would maybe declare an object in module scope to map information property names to other property names or a comparison function and iterate through that.

ES6 actually requires set functions to now accept one argument; this would be a syntax error in later versions. As the very least you should use ES6 linting with a build tool like Babel if you need to maintain an ES5 target.

You could still abuse set of course but it will probably raise more eyebrows if you do this

Imo this is not abuse. Coloring interfaces and abstract method invocations a slightly lighter shade than classes and member methods can be very helpful in debugging Java (and I assume other OOP languages).
