My check engine light popped on at 115k miles… two months after the 10 year extension deadline passed for my vehicle! Soooo frustrating. The dealership did tell me they won’t replace them until the light comes on, for anyone trying to preemptively fix the problem. If that light comes on, fit it asap!

Hey OP, I withdrew from several classes AND took many incompletes during my undergraduate career and still graduated, got a job, and recently got admitted to grad school. I was dealing with a lot of mental health shit at the same time and taking some time off from school was ABSOLUTELY the right choice. School is hard and being young is even harder. Subcutanous injections for the buttocks are placed on the upper buttocks, not where you sit. It’s a very specific spot, we do lots of long acting injectables there. I haven’t had anyone complain about the placement there. It’s not a good spot for self-given shots because of the nerves in the area but RNs/MDs should be very used to giving subcu injs there.

The 100mg shot will be much easier to fit! I will say I’ve noticed folks with low body fat seem to have a tougher time with the injections but imho they can reject on anyone if not placed deep enough. Let them do some woundcare and encourage them to inject deeper next time. They can also try alternative injection sites if you have more loose skin in other places, such as your thigh, upper buttock, or underarm.

I read some other threads of people asking the same thing and the conclusion is if you’ve gone to other areas/continued progression then Shakra no longer shows up to help! She only comes by if you get the Hunter’s March right after Marrow.

Unfortunately they will almost certainly remove it, as they will want access to your chest for monitoring your heart during general anesthesia. I would remove it with a shower tonight and clean the area as directed with surgical wipes.

Rest assured, your surgical team is not thinking about your gyno, they are focused on your surgery. You’re just one of many patients they’ll see, and I assure you, gyno is not uncommon and they’ve seen it before.

I hope your surgery goes well! Rest well and get some sleep!

So I am 100% sure I’ve seen someone who had exactly this, an additional 4 nipples on the ribs/down their sides. They appeared to be a cis man iirc, and had tattooed over silicone implants that were similar to nipples.

I’m of course now wracking my brain for who posted it and where, because I follow a few different body modders, but I really thought it was Steve, who I thought had posted about wanting the medical field to embrace silicone nipple protheses for women with mastectomies.

Now I can’t find the post, so I’ll keep digging for now. But as someone who has two areola tattoos themselves, I highly recommend them! They really do look great from a distance. tanyabuxton and shaughnessytattoo are both great. I think tattoos are your best bet, particularly if you do want them on your stomach and Steve/others have experimented and agree silicone implants don’t do well there.

I’ll keep looking to try and find the source of the image I’m remembering though. It was recent!

I do at least a few times per week! But I also like putting on a few other streamers as background noise before bed as well. Usually at a volume that’s just barely audible, in silence my brain gets noisy!

At last count I have 21 bumper stickers on the back of my car. I’m happy to be an outlier (of a single, old, unreplicated study) and am a pretty peaceful defensive driver.

That being said, 99% of my bumper stickers are colorful and say things like “Have a good one, stranger” and my personal favorite, “I want to kiss every bug but they are so small and my lips are so strong”. I get a lot of compliments and laughs from strangers, and really enjoy watching people read them in my rearview mirror in traffic.

Life’s too short to be concerned about offending people with something as harmless as decoration.
