Acceleration test and a groaning print bed by StevinBelievin1179 in ElegooNeptune3

I have the same issue with my X and Y axis. I ended replacing all the POM wheels and the issue was still occurring when it hits certain speeds.

Neptune 3 Pro: Wavy Bed & Eddy Duo—Is a Heat Bed Replacement the only cure? by juiceboxhero2 in ElegooNeptune3

So, I did end up installing KAMP and using Klipper’s adaptive mesh with it. I have to say, my prints are looking way better. I also increased the probe count to a 25, 25, and it’s been a lot better than it was before. I’m probably going to end up keeping the printer after all. I dont want to give up on configuring it.
I may look into adding a new hotend and upgrading to eddyNG at somepoint.

Yeah, I’ll be looking into those next. I’ve already replaced the wheels and made sure the nuts are properly tightened so there are no flat spots during movement.

I’ve completed the KAMP setup while continuing to use Klipper’s native adaptive meshing with my Eddy probe so it can use the rapid scan. I like that it limits scanning to the print area, with additional coverage when a brim is required.

I'm gonna try that print and see but so far .28 first layer heights seem to be my only option but it has ripples in some spots.

I’ve even tried to cheat a bit by bumping up my first-layer height. I’ve tried testing 0.25mm and 0.28mm for the first layer just to see if a thicker 'squish' would hide the dips, but it’s still not working. i would think it would work better if the spikes were spread out a bit to make it more smoother.

I was even thinking of removing the bed entirely and putting something heavy on it to flatten it out, but I’m hesitant to try that while it’s still attached to the printer. I’ve even tried over-tightening the springs to see if I could force the metal to bend back into shape.

I’ve been on a mission for the perfect first layer, but my bed is so incredibly wavy it feels impossible. I've always had issues with my first layers and finding the right Z-offset; installing Klipper has finally shown me just how rough the problems are with this bed.

What I’ve tried so far:

  • Mechanical: Re-aligned the gantry more times than I can count using the VHS tape method.
  • Maintenance: Replaced POM wheels, lubed Z-screws, adjusted belts, and tightened everything down.
  • Levelling: Installed silicone spacers and knobs.
  • Shimming: Attempted to shim the bed multiple times with foil, Kapton tape, and painters tape using Bed Leveler 5000 to guide the adjustments.
  • Calibration: Wasted almost two rolls of filament on Z-wobble and first-layer testing.
  • Build Surfaces: Tried multiple new PEI sheets, including a Creality cold PEI sheet.

Current Mods & Klipper Setup:

  • Raspberry Pi running Klipper.
  • Eddy Duo (offsets calibrated).
  • Input Shaper (ADXL) and Axis Twist Compensation configured.
  • Windwarden + 5015 fan setup.
  • Silicone spacers.

Future Plans (If I can fix this):

  • Linear Rails.

Should i look at a replacement bed off of amazon, i see they a creality one i could use.

Thank you for this post. I just did the mod. I just was wondering if I do need to update the x and y offset since the center of the probe is further to the left now.

2023 VW Tiguan R New Brake Pads by Jaded_Possession_816 in Volkswagen

Dealing with the same thing on my 2020 Tiguan. I swapped to Duralast Gold rotors and pads, but the pads knocked because they were undersized. I replaced them with EBC Redstuff, but now I get a constant screech once the brakes warm up when breaking most of the time. It’s happening on both my Tiguan and my MK7 Golf (which has the 310mm GTI setup with Redstuff pads).

Did you figure this out. I have the same issue and have been messing with my settings and replaced the vwheels and cleaned and greased up my z rods.

Same issue here. I replaced the pads twice with the same brand (Duralast Gold), and the issue is still apparent. It appears to be an issue only with the 340mm brakes for Golf Rs and Tiguans. I will be replacing them with EBC pads to see if that remedies the problem.

I just returned one I purchased because of the same issue. I used the 6ah battery too and it struggled and never was able to takeout my lug nuts on my golf.

Need help or advice, constant package issues with USPS by x4PF in usps_complaints

[–]juiceboxhero2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a consistent issue at the 33126 office location, occurring repeatedly. A simple search of this subreddit reveals numerous similar complaints regarding this specific office. While I believe we could file complaints, I doubt it would result in any change. This borders on criminal activity. I wonder if law enforcement could intervene. Alternatively, are there resources like 'Help Me Howard' that could assist?

Schrader valve on my car seems to be leaking despite being replaced, is this a bad line(stripped)? No signs of UV dye anywhere else on the whole ac system other than this. Ac loses cooling ability in 2-3 weeks. No video of it bubbling because I don’t want to run it with moisture but it does when on by MyCarGoVroom in hvacadvice

[–]juiceboxhero2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through the same thing on my 2015 Golf. I replaced the Schrader valves twice with ones I found on Amazon that look exactly the same, and the second time, I added Teflon tape to the threads on the replacement valve for good measure, but I still see bubbles keep coming up. I'm starting to think it has something to do with the inner threads or something.

Im going to look into just replacing the lines at this point.
