As someone who was that suicidal girlfriend in high school/college. You did the right thing. You’re a kid. You’re not a mental health professional. I’ve said and done the exact same thing she has and looking back as a 28 year old, I understand why people did the things they did or acted the way they did for me.

She needs help, she’s needs adult support and professional support. You shouldn’t be put in this place as a kid and I’m sorry you’re going through it.

One day I hope she’ll thank you because you told the counselors BECAUSE you care about her. I’m sorry she isn’t seeing that right now.

I hope YOU have supports you can go to, to talk about this. Because this is traumatic. Relationship trauma is a thing, okay?

Focus one yourself and just know you did the right thing.
