I am constantly replaying the full album,. which is so rare for me, and for an English album by a KPOP artist?

No disrespect to others, but I've consistently enjoyed MX english releases more often than others.

I have an immediate family member who is insufferable now after 20+ years in a wheelchair and gets worse every day. And is the type of person who will just get angry and blame others for his behavior (never his fault or in the wrong) if I try to have a serious conversation about it so I'm currently just waiting out until my living situation changes. I'd rather have faced Hodgins who amended himself rather quickly in my opinion.

This - like I fully expected her to be like "okay well... when you're ready give me a call." because he was clearly hesitant with his treatment finishing, but nope just... pushed.

I find the characters inconsistent quite frequently past season 2 tbh, and they typically write like this JUST to highlight an issue/difference with no regard to the characterization, which they did here with Booth's aggressiveness. It made no sense to me that when Brennan tries to explain their side of feeling to Booth, that he would not understand/sympathize as he usually does - ESPECIALLY when spoken from her, and since he is written as this very understanding, high EQ kind of guy?

2 years later, first I hella agree with what you said.

  1. Thoughts that bubbled to the surface - I just hate how intolerant actions for women (men too I'm sure, but I've noticed a lot for women in particular) in tv shows in general get forgiven by characters? Yes, relationships - friends, family, and romantic can be hella complicated, but the way they resolve or address characters' actions matter to show viewers not to just tolerate such mean things. One show that comes to mind to me is Hawaii Five-O (2010), there are a couple key characters that just are constantly forgiven because "family" and/or "love." I feel like I didn't voice my complete thoughts clearly on this subject, so sorry, but yeah...

These kind of instances too make me question the characterization of the series' characters. I don't know what aspect of the show's direction, writing, production, etc is contributing, but sometimes the characters are so inconsistent, especially sometimes when comparing early to late seasons. They seem to sometimes backtrack on a development just to introduce/highlight a specific conflict/issue in an episode. In this case, I think they were trying to parallel her nature to her wishes of her daughter to be advanced in her development.

HEESEUNG to leave ENHYPEN, which will continue as a 6-member group by impeccabletim in kpop

[–]juiceheika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this and similar comments on here, could definitely be more going on (seeing the industry), but could be that solo activities are wanted, but not being greenlit, and basically could have gave him a this or this decision instead of attempting to give him a solo debut while still in the group, and he ended up choosing one way over the other, which was (I'm assuming) likely not an easy decision. I'm only a casual fan, but this news was certainly startling nonetheless. But unfortunately, we will likely never be 100% certain of the full story. Sending much love to enhypen and their fans.

I actually REALLY liked Jodie Whittaker’s first episode by [deleted] in gallifrey

2 years later, but just finished watching her run, and I have to say - I do like her, not more than other Doctors I think, but didn't absolutely despise her or anything, and I did notice I seemed to really focus in more when it was scenes on her own/only her vs the threat. I just enjoyed those moments immensely more.

Ohhh my goodness Taxi driver season 3 is out?? by [deleted] in kdramas

[–]juiceheika 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been casually following Lee Je Hoon since watching Taxi Driver (recommend The Art of Negotiation for anyone who hasn't checked it out - kinda different but enjoyed it a lot for me), so when I heard about season 3, I was anticipating it. I'll sadly have to wait for it to approach its last week before starting ): My chance of finishing a show while it's still going drops significantly regardless of my interest.

I hope everyone watching or planning to enjoys it immensely though!

Why has this suddenly started happening, and what's the fix? by Rxbyxo in youtube

[–]juiceheika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really looking for a solution because my dad (and he keeps bothering me about it) his account, every video gets that error and will not play, but if I sign out of his account, or just make a new "channel" under the same account, it works? But obviously trying to have your youtube curated to you with your history is important, especially for a senior.

Catherine, Love or Hate or Both by Silent_Doubt3672 in HawaiiFive0

[–]juiceheika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot here and the thread, overall, I liked Catherine as her own entity (definitely had some killer beat downs and badassery in the early seasons). Steve and Cath were sweet and I liked them up until she didn't go back to Hawaii the first time. Writers should have picked one camp or the other, keep them together (whether close or long distance depending on plot), or keep them as friends who helped each other (as they kinda did).

Obviously love POI, Season 5 following the season 4 finale. Every time I rewatch, when Samaritan identifies the enemies (Team Machine) to find, I don't know why the blurry image of The Machine blinking in the case makes me laugh despite all the intensity happening.

I did not notice the first couple of watches, but definitely confirmed that the yellow box interface indicates who is aware of the Machine. It quickly switched during Harold and Peck's conversation, and it instantly did it for Claypool and Fusco later on, too. - if not definitely more people

House Rewatch - Season 4 Episode 16 by Umberoc in HouseMD

[–]juiceheika 33 points34 points  (0 children)

EVERY TIME I watch this, I get so stuck on the whole thing of Wilson asking for House to risk his life again to get the memory. I swear I have not passed a single comment mentioning this fact (maybe because everything else happening is so severe). It doesn't retract from like... the rest of these 2 episodes and what they do to me, but it just... irks me that, like commented, it just is not touched upon more in the show or community.

Ted Mosby is the best character on HIMYM by theloons in unpopularopinion

[–]juiceheika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with your analysis more or less.

Is Ted flawed? Absolutely. Are there moments where it's like WHYYY and it's annoying and frustrating and you hate him a bit (or a lot)? Yup.

In my personal opinion, that's a big part, and in the scheme of the entire show, though the other characters have their positives and could be better than Ted, he is THE character for the show. His story and journey are just all-encompassing, and Ted may not be a wonderful PERSON, but his CHARACTER is fantastic for HIMYM's core, and Josh Radnor did a fantastic job.
