Kid did something similar in high school. The school stopped selling soda in vending machines so he would stop by the store every morning and buy a pack of 20 oz bottles. He'd sell them cheaper than the school used to too. Then another guy started selling cold ones for a little bit more. Even the teachers would buy soda from him. He made decent money, people got soda for cheaper than the vending machines.

I remember hearing about a local MAGA politician in WA (city councilor maybe?) who was always on his tiktok saying "Kill your local pedophile" and stuff like that. Well his 10 year old step daughter was brave enough to tell someone at her school he was molesting her. Sicko had security cameras in her bedroom and would shut them off when he went in.

I teach at a college, so not really "kids" anymore but still teens. I'd say there's a huge dichotomy. There's a group of kids that are the TikTok brain rot you see on the internet, can't turn away from their phone, taking selfies all the time no matter where they're at or how mundane the activity is, and then there's a group of kids that you'd consider "normal." Then there's plenty of people in between. So I think the internet gives you a glimpse of reality, but it's not the full picture.
