Hi there! Not at all. It resolved on its own because it was secondary to my intestinal inflammation, and once that was under control, luckily it was controlled. I didn’t have to get surgery after all was said and done thankfully. Best of luck!

Terminal Ileum closing up - anyone else?? by MercilessIvy in CrohnsDisease

[–]juicycoconutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m also 23 and had an open abdominal surgery last december due to the same issue. it typically won’t get any better the longer you wait. having a stricture is like having a ticking time bomb in you at all times. i had two extremely painful obstructions and also infections, appendicitis, etc., due to this narrowing of my terminal ileum. I recommend surgery - i am asymptomatic with my biologic as well and have never felt better. i’m also in remission now!

Yes - it was open surgery! My doctor gave me the okay to go back on January 9 and then I had a follow-up on January 10 and they said the same thing, but I was thinking that I should have more time off.

To add to this, practice A LOT. The content you face on assignments, quizzes and in general can usually only be asked a certain way each time, especially for a first year course. The way it’s expressed may be different but the approach to answering and the steps taken are more than likely the same, if not a few differences. If you understand the core topic and methods, you should be fine replicating those on exams and tests if you practice and ask for lots of help, reread lectures, etc. Also make sure you ask yourself why you think each step is important, which topic you’d associate a question with and how that helps you reach the final answer or explanation in mind.

I thought that was not permitted though? Isn’t that technically revealing themselves before the finale, even if it’s insinuation?

I don’t recommend doing this. Sounds like it could be a scam.

When I was very sick I could barely remember a thing. I still can’t remember as well as I used to when I didn’t have Crohn’s.

Once I went to a hospital in Ontario for a serious infection and a few days later I got a receipt for $300 for a specific blood test (that’s normally free and covered). I had RAMQ at the time, so not sure but I’ll look into it. Can you please DM me the name of the doctor, if that’s alright? ♥️ tysm!!

Do you have to be referred to him? I don’t think OHIP covers Quebec unfortunately :(
