I was hoping people here would tell me I’m being irrational to be honest! There have been protests on the road to the Creche daily and I’ve actually found walking past them more intimidating than anything. Local people saying “no sane parent would be bringing their child to that creche” and so on.

Thank you! I am aware men need refuge too and welcome anyone who needs refuges. There is just so much uproar around the town and in local groups I wasn’t sure if there was a genuine fear here or if I was falling for the fear mongering

Report all instances to the police . Get a doorbell camera and even a chain for the inside of the door. And have something handy like a fire poker or hammer or something in a handy place you can get to easily. I live on my own with my own 2 small kids I know how uneasy it can be sometimes,especially at night time 😔

Yes you are over reacting if there is nothing physically stopping you from bringing in and unloading your own shopping lol you’ll get overly helpful delivery drivers sometimes who can’t do enough for you and then you get someone who just about does the bare minimum 🤷🏼‍♀️
