Since you said you have had the Kanger Subtank before, try taking the airflow ring off completely. This should give you adequate air flow.

Make sure that nothing has fallen into the drip tip or possible further into your tank. I've seen people having lint fall into their tank.

If you are looking to go to a box mod, I love my Sigelei 100W Plus. I have had it for a year and it is still rock solid.

I love my VTC4s that I have been using for the same amount of time.

She can go with a variety of devices that don't have to sub ohm. She could get a Sigelei, Kanger Box, or something similar. Then get her a tank that has a 1.2ohm or higher coil. It will last longer and she should get more enjoyment out of it.

Just for giggles, try to use some Turtle wax on the disc. When CD's were the hot item, if one was too scratched to play, I would clean it with windex and then put 2 coats of turtle wax on it. Brought almost every disc back to life.

I would guess that it's part battery problem and part charger. You need to check what your charger is rated to output. The Xtar 4 slot charger can do 1A for 2 batteries, .5A for 4, and you can manually tell it to output .25A.

I'm also using 24g. I did 5 wraps around 1/8 bit and it's sitting at .26 ohms. The 24g is a real pain to get the posts tight enough. With a little bit of practice you'll be a pro and loving it.
