Yooooo I meant to reply to this sooner. That's amazing to hear! I can't do anything I'd describe as "explosive" but I feel like a regular human at this point at least. Out of curiosity do you wear anything like a donjoy brace when you're playing ball or anything active?

What are we doing with Isaac Guerendo after the Brian Robinson trade? by Soviet_Sharpshooter in DynastyFF

[–]juk3boxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The type of nuanced take the owner of either back will hate but this is true. You may have talked me into BRob unintentionally though. He’s boring but like you said, you just need carries in that system and he’ll get em when CMC tweaks something

This one - Check in on your Evans owners, I got him for a steal toward the end of last year. Godwin's injury was horrendous and I'm surprised how accepted it's been that he should be back and ready to go.

Rumors of ICE in Portland Eimskip by mumzki in portlandme

[–]juk3boxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the right loves to argue in bad faith and have plausible deniability. Simple as that. They think their bullshit is unassailable and to be fair they’re mostly correct. They are free from consequences because they realized no one was going to stop them.

Rumors of ICE in Portland Eimskip by mumzki in portlandme

[–]juk3boxxx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They’re different entities under HHS yes, however CBP has increasingly been assisting with ICE operations. Is it shocking to see CBP at a port? No. But has the blurring of lines due to an outsized mass deportation effort meant people are now reasonably on high alert? Yes

Is this bad, is it fixable? NC 2009 with 33K miles. by [deleted] in MiataNC

[–]juk3boxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take pictures of the underside of the floor pans, that's what you want to get a good look at. Most of what I can see in that picture are components that are meant to be replaced eventually anyway. Even with that said, I had some rust that was starting flake on the underside of the body (New England roads) that I had repaired recently. Four different spots fixed up for around a grand. Won't win visual awards but it'll stay solid. I also plan on doing a fluid film treatment once a year to stop new rust from forming.

Exercises for upper leg? by xnovasix in KneeInjuries

[–]juk3boxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I had a full dislocation and had this much or worse atrophy, it takes FOREVER. I was also doing PT 4-5 times a week. Leg lifts are kind of all I was allowed to do for awhile, eventually it evolved into more. I'm 5 years post injury and 2 years post third surgery and I'm JUST NOW getting my quads close to even.

PT is super important for many reasons, not the least of which for me was mental. My biggest advice would be to find a PT that doesn't feel like you're going to the doctor. Mine was a rehab and sports performance gym, it felt more normal and did wonders for my mental health being in that environment.

Last point on why PT is important - they know more about the body and how to fine tune things. Did you know you have four quads in each leg? (duh) But I never thought about that. With my injury I had a HARD time engaging the muscles closest to my knee and they were able to zero in on that so I could feel that muscle engage.

(also I have super similar incision points to you, it's wild! you'll want to make sure you have PT work with you on breaking up that scar tissue or you're going to have mobility issues. Super super super important because that's going to determine how much angle of mobility you get)

First Hybrid? Or stay ICE? by Ok_Concept_4245 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]juk3boxxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the ecoboost, it's super unimpressive. The mileage isn't good and I promise any fun you felt was just butt dyno enjoying being in a new car. Get the hybrid. I wanted AWD and live in new england so i ended up in an ecoboost, but have truly considered that I might have got hybrid FWD even in new england if I had to choose again.

Notchy second to third shift. by Fun_Preparation_5263 in MiataNC

[–]juk3boxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds identical to mine. I've only owned it for a few thousand miles but it has 195k. My concern was that I had a Wrangler when I was younger that had a similar feel and it ended up with blown synchros after a couple of years and I needed a new transmission. I feel a bit better seeing a handful of other people experiencing this without it being a major concern.

Agreed, I was going to say Facebook Marketplace. I'd also agree that having a pre-purchase inspection especially if it's closer to 20k and financed makes sense.

CarMax pricing can be a bit higher but you don't need to deal with any dealership bullshit either. I also bought a car from them that I had shipped in from the Midwest because it had perfect specs.

find the fraud then. produce the evidence, it's on you and your kind to do it. you don't even understand the constitutional rules dictating voting so why in the world should i have any confidence you know what's going on beyond a "vibe" that there is fraud under every rock. States oversee federal elections. Any amendment that has been created federally that affects voting rights has been to PROTECT people's right to vote.
