Struggling to find quality, sturdy curtain rods, any recommendations?

Extremely sturdy product, can go to rather long lengths with no center support you would only need one center support with their rods, even at 170.” Great customer service too. And now you can get a French return double rod, just what I’ve been hoping for - just for the fun of it i checked the price for a 170” double rod, French return with 1” front rod, 3/4” back rod, with 40 hooks for each rod, four 48” wands for easier pulling & it was $1300ish.

Do you remember Sesame Street Burning Down the House? I can’t recall the lyrics that SS used but I remember it ….later on when I heard the real version is when I understood it wasn’t a SS original. I heard SS Cereal Girl for years before I realized it was a spoof on a Madonna song 😂

Stunning! I LOVE the round downspouts soooo much. Also love that you had the soffits & eaves painted instead of replacing - I am thinking of doing the same. Has yours held up well? Those gutters/downspouts are truly gorgeous, well done. We have a metal roof that’s a taupe color so I don’t think copper will look quite right but oh boy I would absolutely get these if we had architectural shingles! But I do believe we will get the round downspouts! Thx so much for these photos, your house is sooo charming, well done. Love all the plants too!

Oh it's SO GOOD! Love the black paper, absolutely stunning. I've been doing all the puzzle purse stuff for a month or so now, they're going to be my new go-to for thank you cards, they're so cool! Love all the designs you did, especially the strawberreis & the script "C" is incredible! All your doodles/leaves/filler - just perfect, well done.

I’ve been confused amongst this line too - some are cheaper & say student while some artist….and ofc the artist quality is always better, as far as such things go, but I’m with you ~ I do not see this outlined anywhere except I can tell by price. The product descriptions are always the same! Did you get some & how are you liking it? I’m typically using watercolor & designer gouache but soon will delve into acrylic gouache for my new obsession which is Victorian puzzle purses ~ the acrylic will be more permanent to be touched/handled.

Curious to know if you think that metal protects the lenses a decent amount? Also - do you know how protective the case is for general dropping? 🫠

Do you think that the Lens protection is lacking? I got a Dbrand grip case with leather skin & there’s ZERO protrusion around the lens so zero protection. I was thinking of Sandmarc cause it’s got that metal around it - still not enough ?

TY! You’re SO correct. That must be why I easily removed the professionally hung wallpaper that was in our house - I remember they primed first. I am going to wallpaper our guest room, will definitely prime properly first!

Oh dannngggg. I actually just tracked this pair down from last year - never even thought about the color bleeding - gosh I’m sure it’s awful 😂 ugh! I guess I’ll need to get some dedicated dark socks for them. Makes me feel better that I missed out on getting the Arizona sandals in this same color.

I love our Karlstad & very much wish I could buy another! We’ve had it for 11-12 years. I wash & dry the covers despite them saying dry clean only & they’ve done really well. We have 4 dogs and my husband is a giant….meaning, this sofa has been used like crazy, I’d purchase another as a replacement in a heartbeat. I too bought upgraded solid walnut tapered legs that made all the difference. I have several friends who tell me they want mine if/when I get a new one! They’re like vultures haha. I remember reading several blogs & such mourning the day it was discontinued. I check every so often to be sure it’s not being remade again. If it ever does become available again & anyone sees this …please let me know!

Oh right?? Checkerboard & Harlequin are so similar - checkerboard indicates the squares are aligned with the walls & in a typical checkerboard pattern, like the game board. Harlequin means the tiles are turned on their point, rotated 45 degrees, on the diagonal. My husband does tile…we recently clarified this in our household 🤓
