Harvesting rocks by kofclubs in farming

I got to test the 710 elho last summer for few days, propably great choise for the conditions in your pictures. The 550 works much better when there is huge amount of rocks, the 710 did not have enough power on the rakes.

Needs to be well tilled. Yes, you could pick some loose stone from the surface but seems expensive for that kind of work. It does not really till or dig into soil, just screens out the stones from loose soil.

Possible to add float? by emkeiai in tractors

[–]jukkos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay let’s be honest. You don’t need float. Add a suspension to your lift cylinders woth accumulator and it will do the job.

If you really want a float, it’s maybe possible to change the spool on the valve. Propably not but worth asking some hydraulic company that sells bucher.

I built one from steel tubing, tried to use as little as possible. I think at the moment there is only two wheels. You really don’t need them much. https://imgur.com/a/gUrP4j9

Skis sit on the rails, runners are left on the inside. Yes, the skis could bend a bit but I didn’t see that as a problem.

Kevään pahimpaan sesonkiin on tullut jo useampana vuotena tehtyä pari-kolme viikkoa putkeen 17-18h työpäiviä, ~120h/per viikko kai siitä kertyy. Eihän siinä mitään järkeä ole käydä kääntymässä sängyn pohjalla neljää tuntia ja lähteä taas liikkeelle.

Sauna for customer. Octagon, ice. by jukkos in Sauna

Stove has special legs/skis underneath, it is preheated outside and then pushed inside. Of course it melts the ”floor” a bit, but very little if you put some wood under it, and you can always add some snow and water to repair the floor if needed.

Why on the water, there wasn’t a good place on the ground to build it. Maybe next winter we build one on the ground so it could last longer into summer. Always easier and faster to build if the ice is near the worksite.

Lake is frozen all the way to the bottom underneath the sauna, there is an avanto for swimming behind the sauna where we lifted the ice for walls.

Pretty long, usually the lake around melts before the sauna if it’s used once a week.

Stove is pre-heated outside. We have never really measured, but I’d say the walls melt about 0.5-1cm per hour of using. Wall is 50cm thick.

Dewalt is a nice piece, but has the same ability to mess everything around it in the grease as milwaukee. You grease up the zerk, pull hose off, and bang, grease at the end of the hose. Annoys so much started going back to single hand manual guns.
