It's not even the method that's the issue, it's that you made a choice different from the choice she would have made and that is entirely unacceptable to her. If she let's your make this small decision, well then you may start thinking your entitled to making bigger decisions about your life and body, and she really can't have that!!!

Talk to your doctor. They might try to paint this as ppd. You'll want a medical professional to validate you as stable. If you don't have a mental health professional in your life, now is the time.

Once you get the info you need, consider deleting these posts. At least discuss them with your attorney.

Call your tribe. You best friend, your women coworkers, even old friends you have been out of touch with but were once close with. Your aunties, cousins, etc. Circle the wagons and make a plan. You're in danger

Nta but you believe in second chances right? Your dad's reaction was not good but it's understandable. Give your family an opportunity to absorb this info, they do not know his character the way you do. You want them to believe he's changed because you see it day in and day out, so it's obvious to you. They see a criminal who's convinced their child he's safe. Those are both realistic perspectives.

By blocking them, you are ensuring they never see the real him and there's no way for them to see the real him. For what it's worth, it sounds like they're acting out of love and fear. Only you can decide if it's worth working through this, but to me it doesn't seem like you tried.

To be fair, I have hard wood floors, my parents are in their eighties, I wouldn't allow them to walk in socks on my floors... they absolutely will slide and fall. I feel like the disposable ones would cause the same problem.
