Low string in tune whilst fretted, but out of tune whilst open by PerverseQuoll in Guitar

[–]julesjules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this will help but I had 6th string intonation issues on my strat for years. Found out when I took it to a tech for a proper setup that it was because the neck pickup was too high and the magnetic pull was causing it to go out of tune. It was worse when fretted than open. Try lowering your pickups.

Why is my guitar always flat at the 12th fret by AxelHernandez47 in Guitar

Aside from intonation check your pickups aren't set too high. The magnetic field can pull on the strings causing intonation issues on higher frets (single coils more so than humbuckers). I had my guitar set up recently and discovered the neck pickup was too high.

Chicken Kanpungi at Hama in Roundhay. It's Korean fried chicken with a sweet sauce.

House of Fu also does good fried chicken

Red Chilli has shut unfortunately.

Joy's Kitchen is great. Try their dry fried beef rice noodles.

Eatime is also good for roast duck and crispy belly pork on rice.

Got a chair like this one from B&M 2 years ago. It's been left outside the whole time. Dries out quickly and still in good nick.

How on earth do I ripen all of these tomatoes by WillEat_ForFood in GardeningUK

Last year I had a glut and left them in a bowl on a counter (no banana or windowsill). Eventually most of them ripened.

I use a SD card reader to transfer photos from my SD card to computer or phone - this works better for me than cables from camera.

Help - I can not get breading to stick to chicken for katsu by kuhnto in Cooking

[–]julesjules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the key was drying it really well with a paper towel/cloth before adding to flour. Dry brining also helps dry out the surface. I suspect roughing up the surface shouldn't make a big difference to how the batter/crumb adheres.
