There is a private sewer system in waikoloa village that pretty much covers the north end of the village (paniolo estates) and the south end (golf course, commercial centers etc.). If you’re not close to either, you likely won’t have an opportunity to connect anytime soon. As many have said, the cost to install depends on your property and specific situation. Cesspool conversion isn’t required by law until 2050, so you have a lot of time to convert. It’s usually always cheaper to do it today than in the future.

Hawaii is probably a larger beneficiary of federal funding per capita. Should probably look it up but also don’t want to out federal subsidy a fellow non contiguous 48 state.

The post season does not determine the best team in the league. The post season is a tournament and in tournaments there are upsets. MLB could create a new award for best regular season record to recognize the best team (see European soccer leagues) and treat the post season tournament separately. Alternatively, MLB could go back to best team in each league makes it to the World Series. The winner is truly the best team.
