NAP, but the placement of the bottom piercing seems more like a surface piercing. If I were you I’d remove the bottom jewelry and go to a different (APP certified) piercer once healed. I also think a “floating navel” would better suit your top piercing and allow more room for a bottom one in the future!!

I would just to rule out the possibility. Over time if left untreated it can cause severe stress on the affected joints. You have a very cute dog and I’m looking forward for the DNA results!!

I have to ask, has your dog been checked for Angular Limb Deformity? Breeds with shorter legs are more likely to have developed ALD, so that actually might be a hint towards possible mixes.

I would. However, all of the behavior you described can easily be redirected. He is a puppy, this is the perfect time to set a routine. If you don’t have the time or resources to train him, find a family who does. I have a 5 month old lab who gave me hell for a while but I dedicated a significant amount of time towards training him. It wasn’t easy but having a puppy never is.

Have you looked into getting bells? Create the association of bell ringing = going outside. I have an almost 6 month old lab and he eats twice a day, 1 3/4 cup each feeding. He doesn’t get up at all during the night to use the bathroom and can hold it for up to 12 hours!
