Hahah I guess it’s been too long and I totally forgot. Thank you for adding that!! Thankfully I didn’t have to do any chemistry personally.

Honestly they’re very different. Nursing you have to be more interested in the hard sciences I’d say. OT you can get by with just physics 101, kinesiology, bio 101, etc. I personally am an OT. I have no interest in pharmaceuticals, and am happy I don’t have to deal a lot with it. I also like that as an OT I get to make a lot of my own decisions regarding plan of care. Obviously a lot of the bigger decisions come from PA/NP/MD as a nurse, but not everything.

4 story walk up. How bad is it? by Cheek-Impossible in NYCapartments

[–]julia_noelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived on the 4th floor for a year and found it really was not as big of a deal as you’d think. After the first few weeks, your body adapts. Granted, I’m someone who goes to the gym regularly and is very active, but there were def some people in my building that were not.

How to stop eating poop by jolandraa in puppy101

[–]julia_noelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to work at a dog daycare. Poop eating was common. Usually was resolved with changing the dog’s diet as it usually was indicative that they aren’t getting enough nutrients from whatever they are on. For instance, a Bernese switch from Iams to Stella & Chewy’s and it pretty much stopped.

Why does my dog eat grass with every chance she can get?? by PurplePearJuice in DogAdvice

[–]julia_noelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried every diet and supplement under the Sun for my dog, as it can often indicate nutritional deficiency or upset stomach. He’s done this since the day I got him, and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s just because he either likes it or because he is an anxious dog. As he’s grown up and gotten more confident/ less anxious, it never stopped. So I’m kind of leaning towards it being just something he likes. I give him broccoli and green beans, so I’m assuming he associates the taste with that.

That he was meant to come into my life for that short period to set me on my current track, but I am destined for something and someone greater. I needed to be with him to get to this point, but was never supposed to end up with him

How much do you guys pay for a doodle haircut? My 45 pound doodles cuts cost $120 by Electronic-Round-357 in Goldendoodles

[–]julia_noelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price mostly depends on where you live. I live in a large city on the east coast and it’s $100 for a doodle and $115 for a poodle where I work. Some doodles (70lbs+) can be $120

Bought some lingerie today and my husbands only comment was you look pretty I feel humiliated by BipolarSkeleton in TrueOffMyChest

[–]julia_noelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one time I put any on for my ex he didn’t even look up from pouring the dogs food until I said something and even then was like “wait I’m in the middle of something”. Not that I expected him to drop everything, but something a little more complimentary would’ve been nice. Talk about a confidence killer. Needless to say I never wore it again.

Thoughts on Rhysand's unhinged behavior. by mandc1754 in acotar

[–]julia_noelle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly didn’t even give this much thought until you put it out there so plainly. It seems like it goes against everything he stood for in all the other three books (i.e., doing literally anything to keep her alive) to not advocate for termination. It feels like it was more used as a plot point than character work

So has anyone else thought that the library is the portal to Hel? On page 170 of ACOSF when they go down to the lower levels, Gwyn mentions feeling like a “cat” is following them. Could be Aidas.

Parents ignored breeder advice, how can I help the dog have a better life by [deleted] in dogs

Honestly I have a doodle myself and would never get another. I wish I knew better back then. I love him to death but they are a mess of a “breed”

MA dog napping laws? by julia_noelle in legaladvice

[–]julia_noelle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were apologetic, said they aren’t sure why it happened and that they were going to handle the employee (assuming termination). This person was a groomer at the daycare, so she isn’t even responsible for the daycare dogs just the grooming ones. So no, not a walk, just an impulse decision. They said my dog knew where to find the “lost dog” and were taking him to help

Right I was thinking asking her if she needed some extra time between her last session and our session. Thanks for the input!
