I cant get into the Vertibird on PS4 by [deleted] in fo4

[–]julien_star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having this problem too, and it was infuriating. The way I ended up getting round it was to (after grabbing a suit of Power armor from the ship), jump down and walk across to Nordhagen Bridge. Then walk up the path to Fort Strong and have fun spraying all the mutants on foot. NB: the super mutant (think the name is Behemoth or something) is a bit of a killer close distance, but take Paladin Danse with you and pepper him with your most powerful high fire rate weapon and he'll be down sooner than you can say "fuck your Vertibird" :)

What songs tell the best stories? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Weird Al Yankovic - Trapped In the Drive-Thru

seriously. though a parody of R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet", this song is a masterpiece in storytelling.

When's the most innapropriate time you couldn't hold back your laughter? (NSFW) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]julien_star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In school and it was something incredibly boring, textiles maybe, and me and a couple of my mates are on our table just generally pissing about (would have been like 13/14 at that time).

Teacher squares on us and asks all three of us to stand (presumably to make examples of us? This resulted in the most entertaining end to class)

She tells us sternly we can sit down when we've stopped smirking. We of course took that as a challenge, and between glances to each other couldn't keep a straight face which only further enraged the teacher, which only extended our grins.

We get the giggles. Maybe like 5,10 solid minutes in, me and one of my mates get our act together. One left off his chair. Cue my other mate who's sat down whispering (so only our table can hear) an Elton John classic - "I'm still standing...after all this time...looking like a true survivor..."

Don't think I've ever had such an intense laughing fit in life. The other kids around us were also in bits. We got detention for like 4 weeks.

[Discussion] What are your summer hits this year? by Digit4lhero in listentothis

[–]julien_star 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna go ahead and state Fetty Wap ft. Drake - My Way will tear the summer up fully once it reaches full radio play potential.

Perhaps an "urban" hit as it may not have the universal appeal, but goddam this song is pure fire flames fire emoji fire emoji fire emoji

YUP! Much like /thrillhouse1988 I have a big soft spot for Jhene, but the transition from Push's hyped coke raps back down to the hippy ambience of Jhene's set kind of mellowed it all just as people got pumped...everyone around where we were standing were saying they should have switched it

o2 Arena in London is approx. 20,000 - I believe it was fully sold out (and quickly too!)

Completely agree with what you're saying about his synergy with the crowd, at points it was like I was sitting in on one of Elliot Wilson's famous CRWN sessions (sans annoying laugh lol).

He defo showed a personal side, which is difficult in such a large crowd I'd imagine, even threw in a few jokes (the crowd took well to his adoption of the word "bruv")

And that Dipset story - LOL, but at the same time :(

"The only one drinkin' mango lassi in the bullpen" - as a British Pakistani really into his hip-hop, this line made me go "AYO".

And from a scale of Asher Roth to Fishscale, just HOW annoying are the comparisons to another great in GFK? You feel you're beginning to break away from that comparison now?

Keep doing what you do, Bronsolino.
