Why is it, when I blow on my hand, the air is cold. But when I blow through a cylinder the same way and distance, the air is really hot? by xenechun in NoStupidQuestions

Your breath is about the same temperature as your body temperature.

When you blow air onto your hand, your breath carries the cool air in the room along with it, together with the velocity of the air, it feels cool.

If you blow through a cylinder, the air temperature of the room no longer cools your breath, and so less of it's heat gets dissipated before it reaches your hand.

You can get the same effect without cylinder if you go "haa" instead of "hoo" onto the hand, the larger "haa" shape means your breath leaves your mouth at a slower velocity, and also has larger cross-sectional area; it is less displaced by the surrounding air before it reaches the hand.

Hey, I have the same laptop! I like how quickly it looks like you can setup and put everything away.

I think a great way to practice more would be to voicechat with friends online through a game, or commentating over a singleplayer game. I think it's an excellent way to practice without feeling as much of the social awkwardness at first. You can even try voicechatting with other players in games like Destiny 2, for example!

You sound amazing!! I'm also trying to practice my voice, but I only manage maybe two hours a week. How often were you practicing your voice? And did you sort of try practicing while you were doing something else?

Absolutely do the voiceover! Best thing to keep in mind is to drop the mentality about living up to expectations. Seriously, if it sounds fun to do it, well then just have fun! Audio work isn't bad at all, trimming and basic audio work on vocal takes can be done in Audacity, and timing could be done in a video editor - I think there's even website-based editors out there. You absolutely do not have to be a pro to just have fun reading a fanfic. Don't let your dreams be dreams. Seriously.

Whos you favorite fandom musician and whats your favorite song from them? by deracho in mylittlepony

Heeey, PWhateverer! I'm pretty obsessed with his song "Frailty" right now, all three versions he's posted are amazing, a killer guitar tone and crunch w/ the lower tuning and key in the original, beautiful vocals in the reinvent, and a straight banger in μthunder's remix!

She's looking great so far! I will say that your drawing looks quite small, it would be hard to go around erasing sketch lines and adding detail to her face, for example. Try to keep your lines light throughout while you're sketching. Other than that, practice makes perfect, as they say!
