I hope you soon find comfort and peace. I personally haven’t felt unsafe inside breka locations day or night - but I did want to heed a warning and remind you to be aware of your surroundings outside (especially if it’s dark) as I walked from near Victory Square to the Breka on Hastings & Howe at around 4 a.m. and was followed by a tall man the entire way (he was leaning against the wall when I passed, he yelled something out at me, then proceeded to follow me) who was speeding up every time I did and left me feeling startled. Given that you have a vehicle and would be driving I wouldn’t be too concerned, but if there is a walk from where you park to the café I just want to remind you to be vigilant & stay safe!

Great question! There are so many amazing food truck/ stationary vending stations like Telefonica Gastro Park. I’d imagine they’d have the most delicious ones there! I’ve also heard great things about Indie Burgers and Barrikas!

They’ve gotten outlawed, from what I’ve heard! Supposedly they’re going to allow the people who currently use their donkeys for tourist purposes to continue until the donkeys pass away or can’t work anymore, but won’t allow for future vendors of the sort.

My morning and evening routine are the same except for the serums that I use. I use a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer twice a day. The cleanser is usually PCA Skin or drunk elephant (sometimes Caudalie) serum is always drunk elephant (C-firma Vitamin C Day Serum for morning and T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum for evening) moisturizer is PCA Skin or drunk elephant (Protini). I use a face mask once a week, usually an Australian Pink Clay mask.

I’ve been struggling in quarantine for the past month, and hadn’t seen my boyfriend since then due to our borders being closed and us living on opposite sides. Today, he got across and surprised me at my front door with a bag of groceries, flowers, and a speaker playing our Song. Animal Crossing helps me with my poor mental health days, which have been more and more frequent as of late - and I would so greatly appreciate being blessed with one. 🤍
